Blackboard Kitchen space Cylinder

Glass containers are practical, readily offered and inexpensive, however can be a bit dull. Blackboard paint and an easy-to-apply stenciled detail will transform them into a special accessory for any kitchen area.

Materials Needed:
glass container( s).
versatile determining tape.
painters' tape.
glass-etching cream.
1 ″ paint brush.
chalkboard spray paint.
rectangle-shaped or square stencil that fits container.
2 ″ foam brush.
latex or acrylic craft paint.
Clean Canister.
Clean each glass cylinder with soap and water then completely dry with a tidy fabric or towel.
Step and Tape.
Using painters' tape, make a square on the outside of the cylinder to the dimensions of the stencil. Make sure the taped-off area is level and fixated the canister. Idea: A versatile measuring tape utilized for sewing will be much easier to use on the curved surface of the canister than a metal measuring tape.
Use Etching Cream.

Brush on a thick coat of engraving cream inside the taped location using a one-inch broad paint brush. Etched glass will supply tooth for much better paint adhesion. Follow producer's directions for activation time and etching cream elimination procedure. Remove painters' tape after washing the engraving cream. Thoroughly dry canister with a tidy towel. Tip: Make sure to use etching cream, not a product that frosts glass or only simulates etching.
